FIAP Distinctions Details for 2023 and 2024 Applications
SPF Applications for FIAP Distinctions being sent to FIAP in February 2023 will close to SPF member's Applications on 16th January 2023.
Please ensure you have the new details and forms available for the next submission which is Jan 2023 - The new Forms are now available from the SPF FIAP Distinctions page (click here).

UPDATE Dec 2022 - For those planning to apply for further distinctions in 2023, please read the following. At the FIAP Congress held in early December 2022 it was decided that previously proposed changes to the requirements for FIAP Distinctions would not be implemented. This means that the existing rules will remain in place for the foreseable future.
In consequence of this there are the following issues that Applicants need to be aware of when planning ahead or completing their Applications:
- For the 2023 submission of distinction applications to FIAP there WILL NOT be any requirement for Salon acceptance of prints for AFIAP and EFIAP.
- For the 2024, and thereafter, submission of distinction applications to FIAP there WILL be a requirement for Salon acceptance of prints for AFIAP and EFIAP.
- Applicants for EFIAP can use their AFIAP results towards meeting the requirements for EFIAP.
- Applicants for EFIAP Bronze will NOT be able to use any results towards their application that were gained before the date on their EFIAP certificate, which for SPF exhibitors is usually about Apr/May each year.
- There will be no EFIAP Diamond d4 or d5 distinctions due to the withdrawal of its proposed implementation in Jan 2023
