A nature photographer and birder from the age of eight, Lisa is the founder of Langell Photography, LLC. She started her business in 2010 after a long vibrant careers as a floral designer, educational psychologist, consultant and in helping launch and manage two startups that grew into leading companies in the Ed-Tech space.
Since then, she has earned numerous awards and has been published in Outdoor Photographer, Arizona Highways, Ranger Rick, Images Arizona, and more. She is an Image Master for Tamron Americas, an Ambassador for Fotopro Tripods, and is a judge for ViewBug.
Lisa loves creating nature photography and art that is inspired by her background in psychology and design. When Lisa isn’t having fun making photographs, she’s thriving on teaching photography—both via engaging online/webinar-based classes and in her in-the-field sessions. She specializes in Alaska, Florida, Arizona and beyond. Her humility and passion for teaching and photography shines through! Lisa provides photographers with memorable, fun, and caring experiences that enrich, invigorate and expand photographers’ skills and portfolios in wonderful ways.
This presentation will concentrate on Lisa’s images of Bears taken in Alaska and on Cowboys taken in Arizona. It will be interesting, inspiring and educational.

The Exhibition will once again be part of the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe and be open for viewing from August 3rd through to August 25th at Edinburgh Photographic Society’s premises in Edinburgh’s New Town (A UNESCO World Heritage Site). The Edinburgh Festivals draw thousands of International visitors to Edinburgh and the Edinburgh International Exhibition receives thousands of visitors each year.
The prestigious Edinburgh International remains one of the few print only photographic salons in the world. Achieving an acceptance remains a sought after goal for many photographers world-wide. The number of awards has been increased this year. We now have a total of 41 awards to recognise the quality of the work submitted to Edinburgh. A very high percentage of accepted images will now receive awards. Like previous Edinburgh Internationals we have only two print sections Mono and Colour, both open subject.

The SPF...
We are a non-profitmaking network of almost 100 clubs and societies from Thurso in the north to Dumfries in the south and all areas in between. The sizes and involvement of each club within the SPF varies widely.
Founded in 1903, our remit is to promote the art and science of photography through interaction. To this end, the SPF Executive Committee organises a diary of events annually, mainly in the form of competitions and workshops, which our Clubs and their Members can participate in. The SPF also organises or co-ordinates entries to other events nationally or internationally on behalf of our members. We also maintain a mailing list and supply various services, including our e-newsletter the 'e-flash', and SPF Directory which contains all SPF Clubs and our SPF Judge’s & Lecturer’s list.
Through our SPF membership, comes affiliation of the PAGB. This gives access to the Club network throughout the whole of the UK. Through this affiliation comes other benefits including competitive Insurance arrangements for Camera Clubs, exclusive to the PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain) network, which you can take advantage of as an affiliated SPF club. In addition to this UK membership; as a member Club of the SPF, you and your members also automatically become members of FIAP (Federation Internationale de l'art Photographique) which is a worldwide organisation, currently based in Luxembourg.
